3Di Successfully Closes Funding Round worth USD $5 Million with NTT Investment Partners and ngi group

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- 3Di Inc., which develops and offers 3D Internet solutions (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Koike. Hereinafter referred to as 3Di.), has successfully closed a funding round worth approximately USD $5 million (500 million yen) with NTT Investment Partners, Inc. and ngi group, inc. NTT Investment Partners, Inc. is 3Di’s capital alliance partner (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroki Watanabe. Hereinafter referred to as NTT-IP.), and ngi group, inc. is 3Di’s parent company (Head office: Shibuya-ku; Tokyo, President and CEO: Yozo Kaneko. Hereinafter referred to as ngi.). The parties agreed to further strengthen their partnership, aiming for further expansion of their businesses.

With the funding from NTT-IP and ngi, 3Di will actively expand its businesses in the 3D Internet field, which is expected to become the next-generation Internet, by strengthening its functions and expanding its service line-ups such as 3D advertisement systems.

Of the capital increase of approximately 500 million yen, 249.827 million yen will be added to its capital stock, making the total amount of its capital stock 444.4975 million yen.

With business and capital alliances with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, NTT-IP, and ngi signed in May 2008, 3Di is committed to further strengthen its cooperative relationships with NTT and ngi to further promote its 3D virtual world businesses.
