3Di, Inc. and NTT Jointly Host "3D Virtual Seminar" as part of the "Next-Generation Services Joint-Development Forum" - Demonstration Experiment of Internet-based 3D Seminar

3Di, Inc., which develops and offers 3D Internet solutions (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Satoshi Koike. Hereinafter referred to as 3Di.), will co-host the “3D Virtual Seminar” as part of the “Next-Generation Services Joint-Development Forum,” together with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (hereinafter referred to as NTT). The seminar will be held in an Internet-based 3D seminar room during three consecutive Wednesdays starting from November 25th, 2009.

The seminar is a demonstration experiment to hold a business seminar in an Internet-based 3D seminar room with VoIP (Voice over IP) function, and will be conducted as part of the Next-Generation Services Joint-Development Forum (hereinafter referred to as the Forum), a business forum run by NTT. The seminar will use 3Di’s SaaS-type (Software as a Service) on-line seminar service system “3Di Immersive Seminar,” which 3Di plans to release soon. This is the Forum’s first attempt to hold a seminar using an Internet-based 3D seminar room.
